How do I purchase tickets or make a reservation?

You can purchase at the box office (in person or by phone). All tickets are general admission, meaning seating is first come, first served at the club's discretion. The club does have the right to reserve sections and/or close sections based on its needs for any particular show.


If you want to purchase tickets for a group of 20 or larger or have any special needs, please contact the box office at least 24 hours in advance to assure the appropriate measures can be made to make sure you have the best experience. 

Can I purchase tickets on the door without a reservation?

Yes, if the show isn’t sold out. However, if we are full you can be placed on a waiting list to purchase tickets. Any reserved tickets that are not picked up 15 minutes prior to show time will be released for purchase. Guests with reservations will be sold tickets before those without, based on seating availability. 

How early should I arrive?

The venue will open 45 minutes - 1 hour prior to showtime. All seating is on a first come, first serve basis – We recommend arriving early!


Reserved tickets that are not prepaid will be held up to 15 minutes prior to the show. At that point, they will be released and sold to walk-up buyers if the box office is not notified of a late arrival. 


For groups, your entire party will need to be present to be seated, unless your entire party has pre-paid for tickets, at which point we will seat those present and seat the remaining party members upon their arrival. If your entire group has not pre-purchased tickets and you’d still like to be seated, know your group may not be sat together in this circumstance.  

Are their age restrictions?

We are a 18+ venue. Guest must have a vaild I.D.  Some shows will have age restrictions and will specifically be advertised as such.

How long are the shows?

All shows are approximately 90 minutes. 

Is there a dress code?

Nice, casual attire. 

Can I host a group or private event?

Groups of all sizes are welcome and can be accommodated. Both of our venues (N2O Lounge and the Showroom), as well as our comedians, are available for private shows, fundraisers and corporate events. We are perfect for any occasion. Food can be catered in as well if needed. Call the box office for further details.

Is there handicap access?

Yes. We ask that all special needs guests please contact the box office at least 24 hours in advance to assure the appropriate measures can be made to make sure you have the best experience. 

Is the club smoke-free?


Are cell phones or cameras allowed?

Cell phone or camera usage of any kind during the show is not permitted. Cell phones must be turned off or set to silent. Never take a phone call during the show. If it can’t wait, please go to the lobby to use your phone. No flash photography or video recording are allowed in the Showroom at any time and if found, you will be asked to leave without a refund. 

Do you have a "Drink Minimum" policy?

We do enforce a 2-item policy as many of the clubs across the country do, we ask that everyone enjoy at least 1 beverage, alcoholic or non-alcoholic, food or merchandise. This helps to ensure our ability to bring the best comedians in the country to Cape Girardeau. All beverages and cocktails are served as DOUBLES and are in a Souvenir Cup that you take home. (unless specifically requested)

Do you sell gift certificates?

Yes, gift cards are redeemable for show tickets and drinks, perfect for the comedy lover on your list! Visit our Swag page for more information. 

Do you serve food?

Yes! We serve HOT and FRESH pizza supplied by locally owned Jordo's Pizza based out of Anna IL. We offer plain cheese, peperoni and a Bacon Cheeseburger 

When does your box office open?

 Closed on non show days (contact us through the website) 

 5:00p.m. - 8p.m. on show days.   ( Subject to staffing availabilities) 

What is the refund policy?
  • Ticket refunds, returns, and exchanges are not allowed for any reason day of the show (subject to club discretion).

  • Comedians are subject to change without prior notification. 

  • Laughing Gas Comedy reserves the right to refuse service and or ask a patron to leave ANY live show at ANY time.

Can we interact during the show?

Table conversation should be kept to a bare minimum at all times as to not disrupt the acts on stage or the other patrons seated around you. Heckling the comedians at any time is not acceptable. It is disrupting to both the comedian and audience. Our staff reserves the right to request table conversation to be stopped at any time. If a comedian directly engages with you in conversation, it is okay to respond! However, once the conversation is over, let our comedians do their thing – they’re professionals. 

What is ordering etiquette for drinks?

Our servers are trained to ensure you have the best experience during our shows, with minimal interruptions. For this reason, tabs will be kept for your table and only will be payable at the end of the show. The last call will take place approximately 30 minutes prior to the end of the show, at which time you will be presented your check. If through an extraneous circumstance you must leave the show early, we will ask you to provide proof of your paid tab.


Also, for groups, if you require split checks, you must let your server know during your first order. Once the order is input into the system, it cannot be split.
